In 2019, I made a decision that changed my life forever!
Like many people, I had a very comfortable life, but I wanted something greater than what I had. I wanted to find the gaps.
I wanted control of my life!
I wanted control of my time.
I wanted control of my money.
I wanted to express and explore my uniqueness

I remember the day clearly.
I was working for a utility company at the time.
Part of my job was to do maintenance on natural gas meters.
That day, I got dispatched to a restaurant in Chinatown.
When I got there, I immediately knew what I had to do.
I had to replace a gas meter because it was old and damaged.
I knew that it was going to take me a while to get the job done, so I took my phone out of my pocket and started looking for some music to listen to on YouTube.
As I was scrolling trying to find some music, I saw a thumbnail (Picture) of a man in a suit.
I have always been attracted to suits, so it caught my attention, and I did what many of us would do: I clicked on the video, and it started playing.
The man in the video said, “Life is easy.”
When I heard the man say, “Life is easy,” I started laughing and said to myself, What the hell is this guy talking about? Life is not easy, life is hard; he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”
What he said next changed my perspective on life.
This man’s name was Jim Rohn, and Jim said.
“If you don’t like how things are in your life, change it;
You are NOT a tree.”
Those seventeen words hit me hard and gave me hope.
I started thinking and wondering what would happen if I were to change my life around.
I did what my gut told me to do.
I got curious about entrepreneurship, I discovered personal development, and I embrace it.
Everything started to change in me.
~ I got serious about taking control of my life.
~I got closer to GOD.
~ I stopped wasting my precious time.
~ I got surrounded by high-minded people who loved to grow their mindset and skills.
~ I spend less time with people who were energy drainers.
~ I started investing money in myself (Coaching and Mentoring)
I learned new skills like...
· Sales.
· Communication.
· How to build websites.
· How to build funnels on Click Funnels Software.
· How to ghostwrite.
· How to do public speaking and facilitate a room of people.
· And more.
I say this NOT for you to think that I am great, NO, I tell you this because if I was able to change my life around, you can absolutely do the same thing and better.
Never allow your present circumstances to dictate who you are.
Let me tell you the habit that made and continues to make the most impact in my life.
READING Self-Help Non-fiction BOOKS!
You are probably grimacing your face right now and saying...
“Reading? I don’t like reading!”
I understand how you feel because I felt the same way until I didn’t.
Let me tell you my old perspective of reading and what it meant to me...
· It was boring
· It put me to sleep
· It was a waste of my time
I was WRONG!
In reality, reading has awesome benefits
· It sharpens your mind
· It makes you a better communicator
· It awakens your curiosity and creativity.
In other words, it sharpens your persona!
If you want to make a change in your life and start reading books on a daily basis, let me give you the same exact system that I practiced when I was beginning to build a reading habit back in 2019.

Step 1.
Make a definite decision that you will stay consistent and read daily.
Step 2.
Pick the book that you want to read. (Make sure it is a subject that catches your interest; a Non-Fiction book is preferable. For titles, check out the list below.
Step 3.
Evaluate your time and see where you can fit 5 minutes of reading into your busy schedule. Notice I said five minutes, not ten, not thirty, but five minutes only.
With time, your reading time will be more, but right now, ONLY READ for FIVE MINUTES please.
Step 4.
Set an alarm on your phone for the time that you choose as your reading time.
6 am, 12 pm, 7 pm, 9 pm, etc.
Step 5.
This step is crucial. Super Important step!
Every day, when your reading alarm on your phone goes off, no matter where you are or what you are doing...Stop everything and read for 5 minutes only
Step 6.
Be consistent.
Read every single day, and soon you will start noticing some change in your persona.

Remember, Personal Growth is a lifetime commitment.
Don’t get overwhelmed and never quit on personal growth.
